CLEARWATER, Fla. (CBSMiami/AP) —  The body of a cruise ship worker reported missing washed up on a Clearwater Beach, according to authorities.

Police say 27-year-old Cliford B. Minej was found dead Friday morning. The Thane, India, man had worked on a Holland America Line cruise ship that came to port in Tampa on Sunday.

Police believe Minej jumped or fell off the ship near Egmont Key last week, and the Coast Guard had been searching Tampa Bay area waters.

The Pinellas County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the death accidental.
