MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It's beginning to feel a lot like winter—South Florida winter, that is.

A chilly start Wednesday morning across South Florida with low 50s near the coast and upper 40s inland in the wake of a cold front.

Wednesday's weather will be cool and breezy, and plenty of sunshine, with an afternoon high in the upper 60s.

The temperatures will drop even lower in the evening with lows in the 50 and upper 40s near the coast. Inland areas will fall to the low 40s and a few spots may even fall into the 30s tonight—pretty chilly for South Florida standards.

The chill will carry on into Thursday with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the 50s near the coast and mid to upper 40s inland.

Friday afternoon will not be as cool with highs near 70 degrees. The warmup will continue into the weekend with highs back in the 70s and plenty of pleasant sunshine.
