MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Art Basel is about much more than just the art. It's a who's who from celebrities to fashion industry icons and insiders.

One of them is Justin O'Shea. You may not know his name, but he's well known for his eye for fashion.

CBS4's Rhiannon Ally met up with the fashion buyer to see what he really thinks of Miami's fashion and what's behind his own unique look.

Whether he's at Paris Fashion Week, a Berlin launch party or Art Basel, Justin O'Shea is easy to spot.

"I pretty much wear the same thing every day," said O'Shea.

This admission comes from one of the fashion industries' hottest buyers.

O'Shea has quickly made a name for himself through the hugely popular luxury fashion website, mytheresa.com.

"I moved to London and changed jobs 10 times. I found something I was really interested in, and that was buying," said O'Shea about his background.

As a buyer, O'Shea chooses which looks end up on the website. That means his opinion holds a huge weight in the fashion world.

He said men and women should focus less on trends and more on things that look clean and luxurious.

"I'm always a big fan of dressing as an individual and not making too much of an effort. People often wear things that don't suite them," he said.

O'Shea is often spotted with celebrities; from Jared Leto to Bono and Liv Tyler.

More than 43,000 people follow him on Instagram to see which looks have caught his eye.

He said fashion is "changing every moment. That's what is so exciting."

In town this week, O'Shea noticed something about Miami. He said it has a unique glamour, which separates it from every other city. He calls it fun fashion, which is highlighted by Art Basel.

"The mixture between art, design, fashion and culture. When you get people from different, but creative industries coming together, the conversation is super exciting," he said.

Besides hanging with celebs, he's also often spotted with fashion icons like Stella McCVartney, model Suki Waterhouse and even Victoria Beckham.

He gets the best views from the front rows of fashion shows all over the world.

His next trip: Milan.

CBS4 caught up with him right before his flight. He was in a suit sans jacket, although not for long.

"My style is the way I want to dress. I don't think about it too much. It's what I feel comfortable in.  It's important to dress up when you travel because you never know who you'll sit next to on the plane," he said.
