Women To Watch: Trend Tracker® Tara Gilani With Laure Heriard Dubreuil

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – In a stylish edition of Women to Watch the the Trend Tracker® Tara Gilani tracked down one of fashion's finest .

At just 37-years-old Laure Heriard Dubreuil, a new mom of a nine-month-old boy, is one of the most influential women in the fashion business.

On every best-dressed list, Dubreuil is famous for her style and her store The Webster in South Beach.

With its three elegant floors filled with coveted collections from the world's best fashion designers, The Webster is one of the best luxury boutiques in the country.

Dubreuil went to F.I.T. in New York after eight years of studying economics and Mandarin Chinese.

"I was always attracted to the runways, to the magazines and I had a particular style. My mum would say that yes, it was always part of me when I was putting together my looks at three," said Dubreuil.

Dubreuil's favorite quote is courtesy of her pal Confucius: "Choose a job you like and you will never have to work a day in your life."

"And that's what I'm doing," she said. "I love everything that I do so for me I'm happy to breathe Webster, sleep Webster, dream Webster, live Webster, it's my giant closet and it's my life. "

Making people happy is her goal.

"I want people to come here to try on as much as they want, to spend a good time, and to continue wearing and living with the pieces," said Dubreuil.

"That's the best compliment for me. That's what makes my job relevant," said Dubreuil.

Built in 1934, The Webster was originally an art deco hotel. Dubreuil meticulously restored and renovated it. It took three years

Gorgeous yes, but the Trend Tracker® notes The Webster is a labor of love.

"Definitely," Dubreuil said. "I never stop working night and day but I love so much what I do."

Dubreuil doesn't have to work. Her family owns Remy Cointreau, makers of luxury spirits since 1724, including Remy Martin, Champagne Piper Heidseick and Louis Xlll.

"For me it was very important to achieve something and to get recognition for something that I achieved myself," said Dubreuil. "My family has nothing to do with fashion so it's really my path, my way. I started working when I was 16, I've always worked. I don't see myself not working."

"I gave birth in January and it was like men's collections and fall collections and I didn't stop one second. It's part of me. It's very important. It's even important for my children," Dubreuil.

For Dubreuil, The Webster is a dream come true.

"For me, moving to the United States, I always say: I live my American dream. Everything I did was possible because of the energy and the support I got in Miami, the welcome I got from everyone here, a lot of women were extremely supportive and that's the biggest help we can receive and we can give," said Dubreuil.

Dubreuil, speaking from the heart, told Gilani, "I am a strong woman. I want to be happy. I will open more Websters. I promise to help the young women who want advice about fashion or want to know how I managed to be where I am right now.

Dubreuil has style and compassion and Gilani notes that she wears both well.
