Police Find Decomposing Bodies Of Elderly Lake Clarke Shores Couple

PALM BEACH COUNTY (CBSMiami) – Police found the badly decomposing bodies of an elderly couple after friends reported they had not seen the Lake Clarke Shore residents in quite some time.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Lake Clarke police found the bodies in the couple's backyard at around 11 a.m. while conducting the welfare check on Thursday. They called the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office shortly after to do a death investigation.
While the Palm Beach deputies processed the scene, the state Medical Examiner's Office removed the bodies.
It is unknown how long the couple has been dead or what was the cause of death. PBSO said medical examiners should conduct autopsies within the next few days.
Authorities did not release the identities of the couple.
