Man Shot In Chest Near Miami High School

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - City of Miami police said a man has been shot not far from high school on Monday morning.
Officers responded to call at NW 15th Court and 71st St. - a few blocks away from Northwestern Senior High School - of 23-year-old man shot under the arm and in the chest. Police said the man was conscious when they arrived. He was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
According to police, a man stepped out of silver car and shot the 23-year old before fleeing.
Authorities are still canvassing the area for clues.
