The northbound and southbound Turnpike exit ramps to Hollywood/Pines Boulevard, also known as Exit 49B, will be closed the entire weekend.

The ramp closure starts Friday, October 31st at 11:30 p.m. and lasts until Monday, November 3rd at 5:00 a.m.

Those driving in the area of the construction should exit at Griffin Road (Exit 53) go east to U.S. 441 and then south to Hollywood Boulevard.

The closure will allow contractors to construct the all-electronic tolling stations that will replace the toll plazas at Turnpike’s Hollywood/Pines Boulevard and Griffin Road interchanges.

All cash tolls are expected to be removed in the Fall of 2015.
