In bond court Monday, the judge alleged Talbot not only tried to kill his wife, but that it was premeditated.

For people who live near the couple, the allegations are shocking.

"I've never seen them fighting or anything.  I mean this was a surprise to me," said neighbor Ralph Francione. "I've never had a problem with them the whole time in all the time they've been here.  No noise, no yelling, no nothing."

Deerfield Beach Police received a call about a domestic disturbance at the home located at 5249 W. Lakes Drive. They later arrested Talbot.

He is facing charges of aggravated battery with bodily harm and premeditated murder. Talbot is being held on no bond.
