Oprah's SUV Runs Over Woman's Toe In Miami

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- A South Florida woman walking with her husband got quite the surprise when Oprah Winfrey sprang into action after after the woman's toe was caught under the star's car.

According to the Sun-Sentinel, Lori Bender and her husband were heading over to Prime 112 in Miami when they said a black Cadillac Escalade with a swarm of people near them.

The couple stuck around to watch her get into the car but as Oprah's driver turned the wheel to drive off, the driver accidentally ran over Bender's big toe.

"I took a step forward not knowing my toe was under the wheel of the car," Bender told the paper.

Bender's husband sprang into action and started banging on the driver's window yelling, "back up."

Meantime, Bender said she was on the ground and she couldn't pull her foot out.

The driver backed up and Oprah came rushing out of the car.

"Oprah gets out of car, walks around, puts her arm around me, she said 'My driver ran over your toe?' I said yes," Bender told the paper.

Once her toe was out, the two took a picture together before the Benders went into the restaurant for dinner.

Bender said nothing was hurt and her nail polish didn't even chip. Bender also said there will be no lawsuit.
