Armbrister Park Now Reopen & Renovated

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Armbrister Park has been reopened to the public and it has some new additions.
On Saturday, local officials held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new state-of-the-art turf field at the park located at 236 Grand Avenue.
Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and Commissioner Marc Sarnoff were at the ceremony.
Attendees were welcome to take part in a community softball game with City of Miami Police.
The field was part of a $1.231 million renovation.
The renovation included a state-of-the-art playing field for football, soccer, lacrosse, and softball. Additions to the park include a fifty meter track and a long jump pit.
