“These are the type of fireworks we have to leave to the professionals, they are nice and beautiful at a sporting event or a park on the Fourth of July, but they have to be left to the professionals,” said Captain Jerry Gonzalez with Lauderhill Fire Rescue.

According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, the child was playing with the fireworks in a backyard without any supervision.
