3-Alarm Fire Consumes 45,000 Foot Warehouse

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A three-alarm fire broke out in Opa Locka on Sunday morning, leading to 36 Miami-Dade fire units responding to the scene.

The fire engulfed a 45,000-foot warehouse and took over 100 firefighters upwards of three and a half hours to get the blaze under control.

One firefighter suffered a knee injury and was transported to the emergency room at Palmetto General Hospital.
