MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Coast Guard crews suspended their search Monday evening for two suspected migrants reportedly missing off the coast of Miami Beach.

Miami Beach police picked up a woman and two teens who made it to shore around 17th Street and Collins Avenue.

They said they were traveling with two males who they didn’t see make it to land.

The trio was turned over to U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

Search crews completed 10 search patterns covering approximately 111 square miles over a 16 hour period.
