DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins announced on Monday that the team has re-signed wide receiver Damian Williams.

To make room on the roster, Miami has waived running back Orleans Darkwa.

Williams played with the Dolphins during training camp and was one of the final players to be cut.  He will be the sixth receiver on Miami’s roster and can also serve as a kick and punt returner.

The Dolphins also announced that the exemption for safety Reshad Jones has been lifted and he will be available to play immediately.

Jones was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
