Dolphins Terminate Contract Of QB Brady Quinn

DAVIE (CBSMiami) – The Miami Dolphins have terminated the contract of quarterback Brady Quinn.

The quarterback announced the move on his twitter account before the team made the news official.

"It was short lived but I enjoyed every second. Thank you @MiamiDolphins for the opportunity to play the game I love again. Best of luck to all the players and coaches this season!"

Quinn was cut by the Dolphins exactly two weeks after he originally signed with the team.

He played in one preseason game, completing all four of his passes for 22 yards and no touchdowns.

The biggest issue that Quinn had while playing for the Dolphins was his accuracy.  Interceptions were a constant during his practice reps and that ultimately led to his release.

NFL teams had to trim their rosters down to 75 players by 4 p.m. on Tuesday.  The Dolphins waived seven additional players following the termination of Quinn's contract.  See the full list of roster cuts HERE.
