MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Collector, historian, and vintage expert Madeleine Kirsh runs her own vintage store in North Miami Beach meant for patrons who appreciate the old and wear it like new.
Trend Tracker® Tara Gilani caught up with the true original to discuss the pros (there are no cons) of collecting, wearing and appreciating vintage fashion.
When it comes to fashion, what's old is new. As in vintage, one of a kind, designer and couture pieces by Oscar de la Renta, Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel, Pucci and Bob Mackie.
Treasure of this kind is what awaits in abundance, at C Madeleine's in North Miami Beach. Collector and historian, Kirsh is the mother of this stellar style invention which is recognized as one of the best vintage collections in the country.
It's the house that Madeleine built.
"I wanted something extremely magical that was different, unique and I believed I accomplished that," said Kirsh.

Kirsh is a curator of personal uniqueness. If you are anti-cookie cutter, you need to have her on speed dial.
Remember, fearlessness is always in fashion.
"I have built this business on fumes, which I have. I went up and I went down and that's exactly what happens in business and you learn from it," said Kirsh.
In this unique boutique, it's not about trends. It's about history and stories.
"From the moment I walk in and I see these beautiful clothes and the legacy that people have given me, how can you not love it? It's history behind every piece in here," said Kirsh.
Celebrities love C Madeleine's. Iggy Azaela recently picked up a Versace safety-pin belt from the super selection of awesome accessories at the store.
She rocked the belt at the BET Awards. Iggy isn't the only one getting jiggy with Madeleine.
"Miley Cyrus is a huge customer of ours. Pharrell is also a major customer and Katy Perry. She's a total sweetheart,"said Kirsh.
All work and no play works for Madeleine.
"There isn't a time I'm not obsessing over this business," said Kirsh. "I'm happiest working all day long."
