Suspicious Package At MIA Cargo Area All Clear
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Miami-Dade police cornered off a section of Miami International Airport Wednesday early afternoon so their bomb squad can check out a suspicious package.
After investigating, Miami-Dade Police has given the all clear and the evacuation ended.
According to investigators, an explosive detection machine alerted on a package located within building 702 in the cargo area of the airport.
Several roads in the area building were closed to traffic.
Police have not released any further information at this time.
