MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police are looking for two gunmen who opened fire on a man who was just returning home.

Police said, the driver, 29- year old Raphael Jean Baptiste was hit multiple times.
Detectives said he had just returned home with his girlfriend who was walking to their front door when two assailants came up to his window and began firing. One other man was driving a getaway car.
“From what we know, the subject vehicle is a gold Toyota Camry and it was occupied by a driver at the time they fled,” said Detective Elena Hernandez of the Miami-Dade Police Department.READ MORE: Surfside Families Push For Permanent Memorial At Site Of Condo Collapse
Miami-Dade police said family of the Baptiste drove him to Aventura Hospital. From there he was transferred to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.
Baptiste is listed in stable condition and is expected to survive, according to police.

“We don’t know if he was being chased. Detectives still have to speak to the victim,” said Hernandez.
