MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) – The highly anticipated Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens in theaters on May 2nd but the stars of the film visited South Florida Tuesday to take part in an “Amazing Day.”
The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone and Dane DeHaan participated in the Hialeah Gardens Community Improvement Organization’s “Be Amazing” volunteer event.READ MORE: COVID-19 Deaths Near 58,000 As Hospitalizations Drop
The Community Improvement Organization (CIO) kicked off the “Be Amazing” volunteer program three weeks ago with efforts to improve Hialeah Gardens Elementary School.
Improvements being made to the school include planting of a vegetable garden, painting the basketball court and playground, installing fence screens and hedges as well as creating a “Be Amazing” mural.READ MORE: State Heads Off Debt Collectors On Overpayments Of Unemployment Aid
The volunteer efforts culminated Tuesday afternoon with the “Be Amazing” Volunteer Day where students worked to finish the projects and got a chance to meet the stars of the film “The Amazing Spider-Man 2.”
