Steering You Right: More Construction On Alton Road
MIAMI (CBS4) - A traffic alert for Miami Beach drivers.
We know the southbound lanes of Alton Road are closed and causing a nightmare for drivers. Well now northbound drivers will have to deal with construction chaos too.
Alton Rd northbound is closed between 15th and 16th streets for the entire week to install drainage. Use West Avenue or Lenox Avenue to get around.
And more problems for Miami Beach drivers. All westbound lanes on the MacArthur Causeway just east of the Biscayne Boulevard exit ramp will be closed while crews remove and install new overhead signs. The westbound lanes will be closed Thursday from 11:30 p.m. through 5:30 a.m. on Friday.
And finally, watch out on the Palmetto Expressway. All northbound lanes on State Road 826 will be closed on Wednesday from south of West Flagler Street to State Road 836 between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
