FHP Search For 836 Hit & Run Culprit

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help to find the car involved in a deadly hit and run which happened in broad daylight last week.

According to troopers,  it all happened at  State Road 836 and NW 57 Ave  on March 21st.

The car was allegedly traveling eastbound on State Road 836 just east of NW 57 Avenue when it hit a motorcycle, causing the motorcycle passenger, Javier Enrique Martinez Perez, 18, to be ejected and killed.

The motorcycle driver Rogelio De Leon, 19, is hospitalized and in serious condition.

Troopers said they are looking for a a black car, possibly a Mercedes, with damage to its right passenger side.
