19-Year Old Woman Killed While Skateboarding In NMB
NORTH MIAMI BEACH (CBSMiami) -- A 19-year old woman died after being hit by a car on a North Miami Beach intersection on Sunday afternoon.
According to North Miami Beach Police, it all happened on the intersection of Northeast 23rd Avenue and Northeast 137th Street.
Police said the woman was traveling northbound along Northeast 23rd Avenue on a skateboard when she was hit by a white Ford sedan, traveling Eastbound on Northeast 137 Street.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the white Ford stayed and is cooperating with the investigation.
