MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A few showers and an occasional thunderstorm will be possible for Saturday.

It will not be an all-day rain event, but the rain that develops could be heavy at times.

The showers are most likely after 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.  Rain chances stand at 30 percent.

High temperatures will be near 83 degrees with a warm southeasterly breeze that will be gusty to 20 mph at times.

Saturday night, expect temperatures in the lower 70s with a stray shower.

The warm temperatures stay around for Sunday with highs in the middle 80s.

A weak cold front will pass through to start the week and another much stronger front with the potential for thunderstorms moves through for the middle of the week.

By Thursday, temperatures will be a little below average with highs in the middle to upper 70s.
