MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Heat superstar LeBron James has worn many hats since joining the team. He’s been a villain, a hero, a savior, and a champion. Now you can add health care pitchman to his lengthy resume.

The White House released a new 30-second commercial with King James encouraging Americans to enroll in health care coverage before March 31.

The spot even has a humorous moment near the end when LeBron says, “you never know when you might take a hit.”

Given his recent broken nose, LeBron would certainly know about the need for good health care.

James told Bleacher Report recently that he’s not worried about how his endorsement in a political sphere might harm his image.
