MIAMI (CBSMiami) – It has been perfect weekend weather around South Florida and the stretch of nice weather continues right on into this week.

High temperatures Sunday will reach 82 to 85 degrees with winds becoming easterly by the afternoon.

Plenty of sunshine will stick around for Sunday and Monday.  A weak cool front will fall apart over South Florida Monday afternoon, but will bring a chance of rain to northern Florida.

By the time it reaches South Florida, the front will have almost all of the moisture it had with it and help to prolong the dry forecast.

Highs this week will gradually increase into the middle 80s for everyone.

The nice weather should continue through Wednesday.

A cold front will arrive in South Florida Thursday afternoon and evening.

The front will bring a chance of some storms to the forecast Thursday.

Behind the front, another slight cool down with temperatures returning to the lower 80s by Friday.
