Report: Richie Incognito Smashed His Own Ferrari

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Bizarre events continue to follow former Miami Dolphins offensive lineman Richie Incognito. According to TMZ, Incognito's car, a black Ferrari, was smashed by a baseball bat.

Incognito's neighbors noticed the bat lying in front of the car and damage to the car's hood on Wednesday and called the police. TMZ also reported there were red shirts hanging from the car with Incognito's name written on them.

But, it turns out Incognito has no one to blame but himself, according to TMZ. The celebrity website reported Thursday morning that Incognito smashed his own car with the bat in a fit of rage.

Nearly two weeks ago, NFL investigator Ted Wells released his report which found Incognito and two other offensive linemen "engaged in a pattern of harassment directed" as Jonathan Martin and others within the organization.

Incognito was identified as the primary harasser of Martin in the Wells report.

In the days before the release of the report and the first few hours after, Incognito lashed out at people including Martin saying that the report was going to "bury" his claims. It turned out the report found Martin was correct and Incognito was the one whose reputation was further tarnished.
