Dolphins Pay For Booker T. Washington's Championship Rings

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - The Miami Dolphins presented a check to Booker T. Washington's national championship winning high school football team to help the squad purchase commemorative rings.

The check was part of a ceremony by the Miami-Dade Commission honoring the nation's best high school football team.

The Booker T. Washington Tornadoes finished the season with a 14-0 record and the Class 4A State Championship. The Tornadoes spent most of the season ranked number one in the country on multiple polls.

In addition to Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel, Dolphins legends Nat Moore and Larry Little were also in attendance.
