WELLINGTON (CBSMiami/AP) — It’s winter, well winter for South Florida, so what better time to honor ice? In this case, the honor is going to rapper/reality TV star “Vanilla Ice.”

Van Winkle has contributed to several local charities and films his DIY Network reality show “The Vanilla Ice Project” in Wellington.
