Smash & Grab Burglars Target Hollywood Radio Shack
HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Employees of a Radio Shack in Hollywood spent the morning cleaning up a mess left behind after burglars smashed their way through the store's glass front.
Hollywood police said they received a call at 3:36 a.m. about an alarm going off at the store at 6609 Taft Street. When police arrived, they found the front of the store had been smashed. The vehicle used to smash through the glass doors and security gate was described as a dark colored Ford Explorer.
The store's manager told CBS4 that a television was taken. He said more could also have been stolen but they won't know until the mess is cleaned and they tally their inventory.
