Fins' Starks Responds To Lineman's Offensive Action

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – When the football is fumbled and players begin to pile on top of it, a lot happens under the pile that would make even the strongest man cringe. Sunday, Pittsburgh Steelers center Cody Wallace showed just how far some players will go while in the pile.

CBS cameras caught Wallace shoving his hand into Miami Dolphins defense tackle Randy Starks' privates during a pile-up on a fumbled ball. Starks had received the fumble and the pile was being pulled apart when Wallace decided to shove his hand into Starks.

In the video, Starks could be seen reacting angrily when Wallace made his move. Starks has since said he wants to know if the league is going to do something about the offensive lineman's grip. (See an animated GIf of the video below)

"I've heard of stuff like that happening. This is the first time it has happened to me," Starks told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "If I knew exactly who that was at the time I probably would have been thrown out [the game]. It's a good thing I didn't."

Starks also told the Sun-Sentinel that his teammates have been having some fun with him over the incident.

"They are getting on me, [asking for results of the] prostate [exam] and stuff like that. I'm hearing it," Starks said.

The NFL hasn't said if it will take any action against Wallace for his unsportsmanlike conduct.
