Allapattah Man Pistol Whipped During Home Invasion Robbery

MIAMI (CBSMiami) - An Allapattah man fought back after he and his wife were attacked by two armed men as they left their home.

"The say 'down, down, do not move, down, down, give me money, give me money'," said Anaero Pie.

The home invasion happened Saturday afternoon at NW 23rd Avenue and 32nd Street.

Pie said when the men pushed he and his wife to the ground, he tried to grab for one of their guns. That's when he said he was pistol whipped.

The two men then pushed their way inside Pie's home and stole a computer, a plasma Tv, a purse and a bank deposit from his work.

The two men left in a waiting vehicle driven by a third person. That's when Pie said the situation got even scarier. He said when he tried to chase them, they started shooting at him.

Police are searching for the trio. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
