Seaquarium May Get New Owner

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Seaquarium may soon have a new owner.

Arthur Hertz, who currently owns the 58-year old marine park, is in talks with the California-based Palace Entertainment, according to CBS4 news partner The Miami Herald.

Hertz reportedly negotiated a deal to sell the park for $30 million, but an agreement has not been reached.

Palace Entertainment owns a string of amusement parks and facilities including Boomers in both Dania Beach and Boca Raton.
