Police Investigating Person Fatally Shot In Palmetto Bay
PALMETTO BAY (CBSMiami) – Police are investigating an incident in Palmetto Bay where one person is dead after being shot.
The Miami-Dade Police Department, Homicide Bureau, is investigating the incident that occurred at 16021 Southwest 77 Court.
Police have identified the victim as 36-year-old Israel Rodriguez, who resided in the home.
Upon officers' arrival, they observed a hydroponic lab inside the home.
Authorities say that at approximately 9:12 p.m., the victim was shot by unknown person, or people.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.
The investigation continues.
