MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Days after super-typhoon Haiyan slammed into the Philippines, whole cities are flattened, 10 thousand are feared dead, and survivors are desperate.For those looking to help the victims of the typhoon from right here in South Florida, you can try these organizations.

According to the group, more than 2,000 homes were destroyed  due to the typhoon. The organization is in the works of getting help to 30,000 families who need shelter repair kits to re-build their damaged houses. Their website lets you donate right from South Florida. American Red Cross
