Teen Accused Of Sexually Battering Girl In School Bathroom
FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – A Pompano Beach teen was taken into custody after he reportedly tried to force a girl to have sex with him in a high school bathroom.
It happened Tuesday at Blanche Ely High School at 1202 NW 6th Avenue in Pompano Beach.
The girl told Broward Sheriff's investigators that she was walking down a hall in the school around 10 a.m. when 18-year old Toby Duncan grabbed her arm and forced her to walk toward the boy's restroom, according to arrest report. When she resisted, Duncan allegedly picked her up in a bear hug and carried her into the bathroom against her will.
Once inside, Duncan reportedly pushed her into a stall and then grabbed her buttocks and hips and tried to pull down her pants. When she tried to get away, Duncan allegedly grabbed the girl's hands and pushed her back. The girl would later tell investigators that she was really scared because Duncan had been "previously violent with other students in the school," according to report.
Duncan then reportedly exposed himself and tried to force her into a sex act. At this time a security guard came into the bathroom and Duncan ran off.
Duncan was arrested the following day and charged with sexual battery, lewd battery, lewd molestation and false imprisonment. He's being held without bond.
