Zoo Miami Shows Off Their Newest Addition
MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Zoo Miami is showing off its newest addition, a baby giraffe born just days ago.
The baby giraffe, who has not been named, was born on October 30th to a 6-year old giraffe named "Mia."This is Mia's third baby.
Mia arrived at Zoo Miami from the Dickerson Park Zoo in Missouri on October 2007. The baby's father, who also arrived from Missouri, is a 16-year old giraffe named "Fezzik." He arrived to Zoo Miami in 1998 from St. Louis Zoo.

The newborn who is identified as a male, weighs 152 pounds and is about 6-feet tall, according to Zoo Miami.
The baby giraffe has yet to be named.
He will be introduced to the herd on exhibit on November 5th.
