Five Arrested In Sexual Assault of Hollywood Teen
HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) – Five people are under arrest in connection with the sexual assault of a 16-year old girl.
According to Hollywood Police, the teen was visiting a friend in the 1600 block of McKinley St. when she was severely beaten by two women and three men.
The girl told police that she was repeatedly punched, dragged by her hair, thrown down some stairs onto a concrete floor while four members of the group ripped off her clothes and ordered her to have sex with one of the men. The man police say sexually assaulted her has been identified as 19-year old Jayvon Woolfork.
Also under arrest are Laniel N. Singleton, 18, and three juveniles.
The girl ran to her grandmother's home and called police.
According to the arrest report, one of the girls recorded the assault on her cell phone.
