MIAMI (CBSMiami) – A group of women, traveling through the city Tuesday, noticed that a man in the back seat was unresponsive and called police. When authorities arrived, the man was pronounced dead.
Police have identified the deceased man as 36-year-old Manuel Riocabo.
The group of women, when they noticed that one of their friends was laying in the backseat unresponsive, pulled into the Shell Service Station located at the corner of Northwest 54 Street and Northwest 7 Avenue, according to Miami Police Department.
Police officers responded to the call shortly before noon Tuesday but authorities say the man was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Detectives do not believe foul play is involved and the man’s death has been “unclassified” until the Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner’s Office determines the cause of death.
