MIAMI (CBSMiami/AP) – In the last month, the price at the pump across the state has dipped more than a dime in some areas.

In Florida, the average price for a gallon of unleaded is $3.33, down from $3.43 a month ago, according to the American Automobile Association. Diesel also decreased to $3.88 a gallon or about six cents less than a month ago. .

In Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, drivers are paying more than the state average. Regular unleaded is running $3.38 a gallon in Miami and $3.39 in Ft. Lauderdale. A month ago, drivers were paying $3.52 a gallon in Ft. Lauderdale and $3.534Miami. A year ago, regular unleaded was averaging $3.74 a gallon.

The Tampa area, where unleaded regular is averaging $3.26 a gallon, is the cheapest place in the state to fill up.
