Living Large: Multi-Million Dollar 'W South Beach' Penthouse

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Can you imagine living in a posh penthouse condo atop the ritzy W Hotel on South Beach? CBS4's Lisa Petrillo gives you an inside look of what it is to live large in one of South Florida's most spectacular residences.

High in the sky, atop the penthouse of the hotel, sits a multi-million dollar, elegant-rocker beach chic apartment ready to be sold to the right owner.

"You got 2,647 square foot, three bedrooms, four baths, great big outdoor decks and a complete rooftop desk with a pool and a Miami skyline on South Beach," said realtor Nelson Gonzalez.

If anyone is planning on purchasing this pricey penthouse, it comes with a price tag of a whopping ten million dollars.

But, as Petrillo says, it is worth every dollar.

Upstairs, on the top of the 33-hundred square foot roof top terrace, you can see an amazing view of the ocean side and all the buildings in the city of Miami. Not to mention, the private plunge pool and sundeck, where only the birds can get a glimpse of anyone taking a dip.

Back inside, the living room and kitchen are both spacious and convenient. All of the hotel amenities come with the room, including a stocked mini bar.

And although the apartment is for sale, it can also go into a rental pool.

"This unit has the furniture package for the W Hotel so when you're not using it, you can have some income out of it because they rent it all the time," said Gonzalez.

The master bedroom has a truly modern and comfy feel to it, especially with the touch of a crackled mirror backsplash over the bed.

"Each guest bedroom has their own amenities," said Gonzalez. "It also has double doors and its own big deck."

In each bedroom, you can spot the beauty of both downtown and the beach side views. Everything is detailed, from the artwork to the lovely light fixtures and furniture, and it is all included in the price tag.

If you are the type of person who wants to live in a luxury penthouse condo with all the amenities of a first class hotel, you should be living large in the W Hotel on South Beach.
