Two People Fatally Struck While Crossing The Street In Pinecrest

PINECREST (CBSMiami) - A man and a woman, crossing the street in Pinecrest, were fatally struck by a car Wednesday night.

Authorities say a woman and man were crossing the street on 88th and SW 68th Court around 8 p.m. when they were both struck by a vehicle.

The woman, according to Pinecrest PD, died on the scene and the man she was with died while he was en route to the hospital.

The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries and remained on scene.
