El Nuevo Herald Executive Editor Moving On
MIAMI (CBSMiami) –- The executive editor of CBS4 news partner El Nuevo Herald is moving on.
Manny Garcia has been named editor of the Naples Daily News and will join the paper on October 21st.
Garcia is a veteran South Florida journalist who has won two Pulitzer Prizes.
During his tenure, El Nuevo Herald became the first Spanish language newspaper to be named a Pulitzer finalist.
Garcia led a newsroom of 50 full-time journalists and 100 freelancers while overseeing advertising, circulation and staff.
He's best known for his work as an investigative journalist.
