GAINESVILLE (CBSMiami/AP) – Shortly before the Tennessee and Florida game, Tennessee has benched quarterback Justin Worley, giving Nathan Peterman his first career start.

Peterman, a 6-foot-2 redshirt freshman from nearby Jacksonville, should give the Volunteers more versatility against the Gators (1-1). Worley, a junior from Rock Hill, S.C., completed 35 of 57 passes for 372 yards, with five touchdowns and an interception in three starts this season. He completed 13 of 25 passes for 126 yards, including a 51-yarder, in last week’s 59-14 loss at No. 2 Oregon.
