DAVIE (CBSMiami) – Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross named Tom Garfinkel as the team’s new President and Chief Executive Officer in what amounts to be almost a trade of executive officers.

Garfinkel takes over for Mike Dee who left to take over the San Diego Padres as CEO. Garfinkel joins the Fins after serving as CEO of the Padres since April 2012.

He is the right person because he is a leader with vision and integrity who can take this organization to the next level.”
