Man Killed By Miami Metromover

MIAMI (CBS4) - Police and transit officials are investigating the death of a man who was struck by a Miami Metromover car on Wednesday.

Miami Fire Rescue spokesperson Lt. Iggy Carroll said the man was killed at the Miami Avenue station on Miami Avenue and SW 1st Street.

The victim has not been identified.

Miami-Dade Transit officials say the Interloop service has been suspended and they are running a free shuttle for commuters.
