Seven Hurt In Ft. Lauderdale Bus Accident
FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Seven people were taken to the hospital after a collision involving a Broward transit bus and pick up truck.
The accident occurred around 9:15 p.m. near the intersection of NW 27th Avenue and Broward Boulevard in Ft. Lauderdale.
Ft. Lauderdale spokesman Matt Little said the driver of the truck, which rear ended the bus, was seriously injured and taken to Broward Health Medical Center.
Six people on the bus were also taken to Broward Health for minor injuries.
The driver of the pick up was cited for failure to use due care.
