WESTON (CBS Miami) – A hazmat team was called to fix an underground gas leak in Weston, Monday.

According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the leak happened at 157 Granada Avenue just before 12:30 p.m. and was capped about two hours later.

Authorities said it was a two inch natural gas line belonging to Sunrise Utility.

While the line was repaired, two homes had to be evacuated.
