Teen Injured In Hollywood Shooting

HOLLYWOOD (CBSMiami) - Hollywood police are searching for a man a witness says fled the scene after shooting a 16-year-old teen Friday.

Hollywood Police Department responded to call regarding gunshots being heard at 900 N. 66 Avenue around 5 p.m. Friday.

According to authorities, Jacob Rivera, upon police arrival, had been shot and was then transported by Hollywood Fire Rescue to Memorial Regional Hospital.

A witness told police that he saw a white male, with a white t-shirt over his face, running away from the scene.

The victim of the shooting remains in critical condition.
