Robbers Posing As Police Officers Ransack W. Miami Home
WEST MIAMI (CBS4) - A West Miami family is shaken up after being awaken in the middle of the night by armed robbers posing as police officers.
West Miami Police responded to the home near the intersection of SW 12 Street and 64th Avenue. Homeowners told officers that they woke up and found three men wearing all black with POLICE insignia.
Police say the robbers tied up everyone in the home, including children, using flex-cuffs.
The robbers made off with several valuables from inside the home and a 2006 silver BMW from the driveway.
Police issued a Be On The Lookout, or a BOLO, for the BMW which has a license plate number CARK34.
