MIAMI (CBSMiami) – One person was shot in Littler Havana Wednesday night just as a game at Marlins Park was starting.

Miami Police said the shooting happened during a drug investigation that was going on near a crosswalk being used by people going to the Marlins game against the Milwaukee Brewers, according to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald.

The Herald reported police ordered a suspect out of a car and then there was some sort of confrontation and police opened fire when the suspects made a sudden move.”

The unidentified victim was taken to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
